The purpose of Howard County TERPS is to provide the youth in Howard County and surrounding areas with organized, adult-supervised, football and cheerleading programs. In doing so, this organization will continuously promote and provide a healthy and holistic approach of fellowship, community spirit, good sportsmanship, and fair play.

With the ongoing risk and spread of the COVID-19 virus locally and nationally, the Mid Maryland Youth Football and Cheer League ("Mid Maryland") Executive Board believes that the health risk involved in participating in a football season would come to the detriment of the children, coaches, and volunteers we are charged with serving.

Accordingly, the Mid Maryland Executive Board has voted to cancel the 2020 Football and Cheer season. This was a difficult decision for Mid Maryland, but they feel that they could not postpone their decision any longer.

We know that this may leave you with many questions. Please hold questions until Monday as the Howard County TERPS Board of Directors discuss our options and work on alternate program offerings. Questions can be submitted to [email protected]. We will hold a virtual town hall to answer any questions or concerns. Many of you will ask, what does this mean for refunds? If we are unable to provide a comparable Fall program, then everyone will receive a full refund. A full refund is defined as the total amount that you paid, minus the processing fees which the program does not control.
